A selection of the paintovers i did for the map Oasis on Alara Prime.

The purpose of these was to convert the design blockout we got to the established theme of oasis, while keeping the layout the same. That was really the most important part, making these places feel real and believable without changing the strict design of a competitive shooter.

To get a better understanding of the space I would start by building the whole area in Blender. This made it a lot easier to get a feel for the area, and make sure I looked at every nook and cranny.
